Video of a play written and adapted by Minnie and friends, describing the events surrounding Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection, as seen through the eyes of real and imagined women in Jerusalem at the time. They performed it during Easter season in several churches in the Boston area between 1988 and 1996, and it was aired on the Boston Neighborhood Network. Songs include the Negro Spiritual “Were You There?”, and in this version at Emmanuel Church in West Roxbury five songs by Minnie and others.
